Dubai Police Crown Ironman Champions in Fitness Showdown

Dubai Police recently concluded their "Ironman" Championship, a rigorous fitness competition designed to promote physical well-being among its ranks. The event, a collaboration between the General Department of Transport and Rescue and the Positive Spirit Council, saw participants push their limits across three demanding disciplines, culminating in an awards ceremony honoring the top performers.

Major General Rashid Khalifa Batti bin Darwish Al Falasi, Director of the General Department of Transport and Rescue, presided over the ceremony, presenting awards to the deserving winners.

The championship tested participants’ endurance across a series of challenging events:

  • Swimming: A 500-meter swim.
  • Cycling: A 5,500-meter cycling segment.
  • Running: A 2,200-meter run.
