The ninth edition of DFC is scheduled to run from November 1 to 30, 2025, aligning with the UAE’s Year of Community.

Since its inception in 2017 by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, DFC has evolved into a city-wide movement. Over eight editions, more than 13 million people have participated, with a staggering 2,735,158 individuals joining in 2024 alone, a 14% increase from 2023.
